Within the framework of the research project «Switzerland: A Technological Pastoral», which is focusing on the deep transformation of the Swiss territory throughout the 19th and 20th century and its aesthetic consequences, and is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation Council SNF, the Institute gta (Prof. Dr. Laurent Stalder) and the Institute LUS (Assoc. Prof. Milica Topalovic) are offering four positions for doctoral students. The project as a whole is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation Council (SNSF).
The selected candidates will be enrolled at the doctoral programme of the Department of Architecture. The position will start on 1st October 1, 2021.
We are looking for PhD candidates with backgrounds in either history, the history and theory of architecture, art and landscape, or architects and landscape architects with research experience. Prospective candidates should hold a diploma or a Master’s degree acquired at university level in architecture, the history of art or related fields.
