Postdoctoral Researcher in Computer Science at the Media Technology Center (100%)
You will be responsible for 1-2 applied research projects with a clear focus on the potential impact for our industry partners. You will be developing new algorithms and systems as well as adapting the state-of-the-art to specific requirements of our partners. For this, you will be working closely together with research engineers that will implement your research into software prototypes. All Projects at the center are interdisciplinary and lie at the intersection of machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. Projects have clear deliverables and milestones and are decided upon by the steering committee of the media technology center.
You hold a Ph.D. in relevant fields (computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) and you have a strong background and proven track record in the field of natural language processing, machine learning or computer vision. You want to work on applied research projects at the intersection between academia and industry. Ideally, you bring experience with working at the intersection of the fields mentioned above (e.g., natural language processing and computer vision). You should be well versed in English.
